12 weeks

Another doctor visit -Dad was there to see the ultrasound, checks for abnormalities with ultrasound, blood and urine tests. Baby reflexes working great - when the doctor pushed on belly the baby squirmed and held out a hand.

12 weeks - size of a plum

What's up with baby this week

Week 40 - baby has dropped down quite a bit. She is still very active. Mother is back to work and tires easily.
Week 24 - Mama's uterus is the size of a basketball now and baby is almost 1 1/2 pounds and as long as an ear of corn.
Week 22 - Baby is now about 8-11 inches long and weighs about a pound. She has eyebrows, eyelashes and a bit of hair on her head. She can hear you talking.
Week 19 - Mama is feeling baby kick but only her for now. This is almost the half way point. Back pain is common at this point. The baby's sex was determined and she is about 6 inches long.
Week 16 - The baby weighs almost 3 oz and is over 4" long. Soon you will begin to feel the baby kick. The baby is grown faster now and the uterus is moving up out of your pelvis and off your bladder for a while.
Week 14 - The baby is active, but you won't feel it just yet. The body is growing faster than his head. Liver and pancreas are working.
Week 12 - baby has reflexs, Your baby's fingers will soon begin to open and close, his toes will curl, his eye muscles will clench, and his mouth will make sucking movement
Week 11 - baby is the size of a golfball and can sigh, stretch, move its head and suck its thumb.
Week 8 - baby is size of a gummy bear & making mama green sometimes
